Bodega, a popular Spanish tapas bar with seven locations in and around Edmonton, has expanded to Calgary with a new restaurant in Mission opening on June 3. While you can’t go wrong with any of the tapas, the paella is a particular showstopper that’s available in two portion sizes. Choose from vegetable, seafood, chicken and mixed paella variations.

At Bul, a newish Asian fine-dining restaurant that opened on 17th Avenue S.W. in late 2024, the food is a treat for both the eyes and the stomach. The sweet chili shrimp dim sum is no exception. The showstopping dish features crispy shrimp paste, a tangy-sweet chili sauce and fresh herbs.
