Feast on Fourth

When: September 24 to 28

Head down to 4th Street S.W. for this walkable, budget-friendly food festival where 15 restaurants will be offering select dine-in and takeout dishes for only $10. Try dishes like donair egg rolls at Blowers & Grafton, a tapas trio at Bodega Tapas Bar by Sabor or a two-piece fried chicken meal at Seoul Fried Chicken.

YYC Pizza Fest

When: September 26 to October 13

During the annual YYC Pizza Fest, local restaurants create unique pizzas to compete in a friendly competition for the city’s best pizza. Diners are encouraged to vote for their favourites, and a portion of every pizza helps support Calgary Meals on Wheels. Keep an eye out for the full list of competitors that will be released on September 24.

Pasta La Feasta

When: October 1 to 31

What could be more comforting during the fall season than a plate of pasta? During Pasta La Feasta, stop by participating restaurants to try a special pasta dish created just for this festival. A portion of the proceeds from every dish supports The Alex Community Food Centre.

Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival

When: October 17 and 18

Head to the BMO Centre for this celebration featuring some of Alberta’s finest food and drink producers. With 25 restaurants, over 320 Canadian-made beverages and more than 235 wines from around the world, foodies and wine fans will have plenty to get excited about. Along with all of the samples to explore, be sure to check out some of the special events like tasting seminars, after-parties and special guests in attendance.

YYC Noodle Festival

When: November 6 to 16

Organized by Hung’s Noodle Factory and Roots Collective, YYC Noodle Festival is a celebration of Asian cuisine. Held in support of the Leftovers Foundation, the event highlights noodle dishes at restaurants across the city, with diners voting for their favourites.

Grape Escape

When: November 14 and 15

At this wine, beer and spirit festival, expect plenty of delicious food and drink vendors to try samples from. Tickets are all-inclusive, meaning you can try unlimited food and drinks. Guests can also attend sommelier seminars and meet master distillers.
