A Future-Forward Community

by Paula Martinez

Located just eight minutes from Calgary in Springbank, the community of Harmony has been in development for 10 years and offers thoughtful and well-planned new home options to its residents. Harmony is now well established with countless amenities, making it a comfortable, connected community for all. In fact, it’s already won Community of the Year eight times and plans to add more standout amenities.

“Harmony is a future-forward community, offering lake living, mountain proximity and is so much more than a neighbourhood. It’s a purposeful, award-winning lifestyle designed for every chapter of life,” says Emily Smith, director of marketing and customer care.

A lake community and more

Harmony offers 140 acres of lake living, and a whole lot more. Beyond fishing, swimming and boating, residents enjoy a Mickelson National Golf Club spanning over 240 acres, over 10 kilometres of pathways and an adventure park which includes a pump track, ninja course, climbing wall, skatepark, beach volleyball, dog park, skating rink, skating ribbon and toboggan hill. Harmony is the perfect community for active living.

Exciting additions

On September 13, Harmony will host an opening show home grand opening event for its new Harmony Harbour laned and front-garage homes. Harmony Harbour is the vibrant heart of Harmony and introduces new home opportunities to welcome more to the community. Broadview Homes and Homes by Avi will be the builders for the laned duplex and laned single-family homes, starting in the high $500s. Sterling Homes and Genesis Builders will build the front-garage duplex and front-garage single-family homes, starting in the $700s.

Later in September, Harmony will open an exclusive set of estate show homes by Baywest Homes and NuVista Homes in an area which connects to the new bridge and features new parks, pathways and greenspaces.

The two-lane bridge was completed in July, and it serves as a connector between the north and south sides of the community as well as between the two lakes. Designed to accommodate vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists alike, Harmony’s bridge ensures safer travel through the community and provides access for everyone to the future Central Harbour. This area will include a community harbour, a Nordic spa and a mix of commercial and residential areas.

Earlier in 2025, the community welcomed new semi-estate homes on the north side of the lake. With them also came newly released semi-estate laned and semi-estate home sites for these desirable home types. A new set of front-garage attached and laned streetside townhome show homes will open in October in this area as well.

A look to the future

As Harmony enters its second half of development, it continues to look forward with new additions, such as the completion of its second lake. Its next phase will welcome more single-family, front-garage homes and single-family, front-garage, zero lot line homes, coming in 2026. Future amenities include a second beach, two new playgrounds, and additional pathways and gardens.

“Harmony is delivering on its promise with its central hub, amenity milestones achieved and community awards earned. It’s happening, and there’s so much more ahead!” says Smith.
