A Massive New Pickleball and Tennis Facility Has Opened in Calgary

Grab your paddles or racquets and head to a huge new pickleball and tennis court facility in southeast Calgary.
Mega Courts, which opened in early March, boasts 13 pickleball courts and four tennis courts in its 60,000-square-foot space with 30-foot ceilings. All the pickleball courts are larger than the regulation standard to offer guests more room to play.
The colourful indoor complex has locker rooms and a café and lounge where players can purchase drinks like espresso and local kombucha or snacks like muffins and pastries. While you can bring your own gear to play, Mega Courts has a gear and equipment shop where you can purchase or rent your own paddle. You can also rent a single ball or entire basket of balls to play. Guided tennis and pickleball classes with in-house coaches and trainers are also available for those who want to up their game.
Non-members can book courts for drop-in games (fees vary for singles and doubles and are by hour and per person), though those with annual memberships can get perks like free or discounted court rental fees, discounts on gear and programs, and free guest passes.
