When the Westin welcomed refugees from the Jasper fires, Domini Chin’s days got a lot busier. But while some prefer to stay in the kitchen, he decided to work a little harder and try to make displaced strangers feel a little bit more at home, learning every family’s name and accommodating every special request. He even created a burger called the Ohana, which means “family,” with a portion of each one sold going toward donations to help rebuild Jasper. Domini, we are so proud to award you with your White Hat Award for your dedication to making guests feel like family.
