Don’t Miss September’s Exclusive A-List Events

Here are some of this month’s events that members can look forward to. 

Cirque du Soleil’s Echo

Cirque du Soleil brings its latest show, Echo, to Calgary. On two select dates, September 3 and October 10, A-List members get discounted pricing and a VIP experience. The performance combines vibrant characters, inspiring music, contemporary abstract costumes, creative lighting and projections and never-before-seen acrobatics, sure to leave you wanting more.

Winemaker’s cellar tasting

Taste and talk all things wines alongside award-winning winemaker Chris Fodo at City and Country Urban Winery on September 11. The two-hour exclusive and intimate winery tour includes 10 wine tastings — including unreleased and in-progress wines directly from the tanks — curated charcuterie pairings, and even your favourite bottle to take home. 

Last Cavalry games of the season 

Don’t miss some of Cavalry FC’s last games of the season. Calgary’s professional soccer team plays at home September 13, 20 and October 10 before the end of the season. A-List tickets get you prime seat selections and access to the Carscallen Officers Club and everything that comes with it — an experience that’s usually only available to Cavalry FC Officers Club members, and now A-Listers, too. Enjoy the hot buffet menu (alcoholic drinks are available at an additional cost), choose indoor or outdoor seating and get a VIP parking pass.

Future of the City 

On September 18, Avenue is hosting its Future of the City Festival, a celebration of the people and places building the future of Calgary, and A-Listers get the chance to experience the panel discussions as a VIP. Join leaders from across the city for a conversation on building a city of innovation and belonging.

Panelists include Bethel Afework, co-founder of Alcove; Barb Gillard, senior director, visitor experience at Calgary Public Library; Jasmin Palardy, founder of The Good Future Collective; Kate Koplovich, director of strategy at Calgary Economic Development; Crystal Phillips, senior director at the Opportunity Calgary Investment Fund and Kimberley Van Vliet, founder and CEO of WaVv and ConvergX. 

A look at future fall events 

Fall is gearing up to be an exciting season for A-Listers. Members will have the opportunity to experience theatre, Avenue events, food and beverage expos, signature galas and a whole lot more.
