Get Ready for a November of VIP Events

Every month, Avenue’s A-List program offers exclusive access to some of the city’s most sought-after events and exclusive experiences closed to the general public. Members get to use their A-Dollars for their favourite events and experience them with a twist. 

November brings a variety of upscale galas, fundraisers, high-end evenings and networking opportunities. Here are a couple of the events that members can look forward to. 

An Evening With Martin Short

The Owen Hart Foundation is hosting a celebrity event featuring Martin Short on November 15, and A-Listers can laugh the night away while supporting a good cause. Proceeds go to the Owen Hart Foundation to help support local, national and international communities. Short will take the stage at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium to present a special comedic performance, and VIP A-List tickets get you premiere seats, located on the Main Floor, Row A. A-Listers will also have access to the VIP reception before the show, where Martin Short will make a special appearance. 

Avenue’s Top 40 Under 40

Raise a glass to the inspiring and influential Calgarians who are pushing our city forward at Avenue‘s annual Top 40 Under 40 gala on November 20. The evening will feature food, drinks, special guests, activations, interactive spaces and, of course, the chance to meet and mingle with this year’s class of Top 40s. VIP A-List tickets include special access to the intimate pre-gala sparkling wine toast and delicious hors d’oeuvres. 

Wine, fondue and festive cheer

Sip, savour and learn at this exclusive tasting event, held at City and Country Urban Winery. This two-hour intimate experience gives A-Listers the chance to gain insight into the creative techniques that go into each bottle while enjoying curated charcuterie pairings and cheese fondue. On November 27, taste 10 wines — some of them unreleased — and, as an A-Lister, you’ll get to take home a bottle of your favourite.

Various November events, such as an exclusive dinner and cocktails at True Wild Distilling, a special invite to the opening night of A Christmas Carol and Your Brain on Art, a one-of-a-kind fundraising gala for neuroscience, have already sold out.
