Inside the 2025 Stampede Lotteries Rotary Dream Home

by Alana Willerton

Ever wonder why there’s a huge house on the Calgary Stampede grounds?

Every year, Calgary home builder Homes by Avi crafts a new Stampede Lotteries Rotary Dream Home that’s displayed on the Stampede grounds. This year is no exception, featuring a stunning $1.49 million home that will eventually reside in the Sirocco community.

Stampede attendees can buy tickets to potentially win the home (and other prizes) or simply tour it for design inspo.

This year’s home features three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and offers plenty of space to spread out across 2,480 square feet. The home blends a farmhouse-style exterior and a “moody retro organic” vibe and has features like a front porch and rear deck, a flex room with a Murphy bed and an upstairs bonus room with a nearby mini bar and fridge. The space also features artwork by Calgary artist Jamie Kim.
