Every month, Avenue’s A-List membership invites members to experience the best of what the city has to offer with an exclusive edge, and October has a variety of top-tier offerings, from VIP galas, an evening of theatre and backstage access to epic circus acts.

Best Dressed Celebration

Dress to impress at Avenue’s Best Dressed Celebration on October 9. Enjoy an evening to celebrate past and current Best Dressed list honourees and other VIPs in the city — this is an exclusive event with tickets only available through A-List. Enjoy tasty bites from XL Cuisine and a special toast provided by Gerard Bertrand sparkling wine while raising a glass to all those who keep Calgary a stylish city.

Cirque du Soleil’s Echo

Cirque du Soleil’s latest production, Echo, is here in Calgary, and A-Listers get discounted pricing. The performance combines vibrant characters, inspiring music, contemporary abstract costumes, creative lighting and projections and never-before-seen acrobatics, sure to leave you wanting more.

On October 10, A-List members can experience VIP treatment, including a reserved parking spot and dedicated entrance, access to the VIP Suite with private washrooms and outdoor terrace, free drinks and appetizers at the open bar and a photo opportunity with Cirque performers.

Dial M for Murder 

Experience theatre with a one-of-a-kind evening. On October 16, A-Listers can pick up their VIP tickets in the Max Bell lobby at Werklund Centre and settle in for Dial M for Murder, a theatre production of danger, deception and murder. A-List tickets include a pre-show Q&A with artistic director Stafford Arima, a drink and snacks.

Top 40 VIP

Avenue’s much-anticipated Top 40 Under 40 event takes a new shape this year, with two events, the first of which is an exclusive VIP evening, with tickets only available through A-List. On October 30, A-Listers will have the chance to meet and mingle with some of the extraordinary Calgarians in the Top 40 Under 40 Class of 2025 during an intimate celebration of the innovators and trailblazers pushing Calgary forward.
