Saskatoon & Region Home Builders’ Association Announce Top Achievements at the Housing Excellence Awards Gala

SASKATOON, SK (FEB 11, 2024) – The Saskatoon & Region Home Builders’ Association proudly announced the winners of the 32nd Annual Housing Excellence Awards at a sold-out gala event on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Prairieland Park in Saskatoon. Celebrating the pinnacle of achievement in the housing industry, this prestigious event recognized the outstanding work of its members across various categories, emphasizing innovation, quality, and excellence.

This year, the Association presented 47 awards, which included 7 new awards in categories of Marketing, Renovation, and Best New Home Spaces, highlighting exceptional design, innovation, and craftsmanship. The evening was marked by notable achievements such as North Ridge Development Corporation securing the Certified Professional Home Builder of the Year and Centennial Kitchen & Bath winning the Certified Professional RenoMark® Renovator of the Year. Additionally, Prairie ICF was honoured with the Trade Partner of the Year award, and Lexis Homes once agiain received the Parade of Homes Top Performer for their notable entry in the 2023 Parade of Homes. A poignant moment of the night was the posthumous presentation of the Ambassador Award to Karl Miller of Meridian Developments, recognizing his significant contributions to the housing industry.

Nicole Burgess, CEO of the Saskatoon & Region Home Builders’ Association, reflected on the evening’s significance, stating, “Tonight’s awards ceremony not only showcases the exceptional talent within our industry, but also underscores the critical importance of innovation and affordability in housing.  As we celebrate these achievements, we also commit to continuing our pursuit of excellence and sustainability in building homes that enrich lives and communities.
